MY ROLE
Airberg are the worlds larges supplier of temperature sensitive food. In 2015, Airberg decided to re-invest some of their profits back into their business by commissioning a bespoke website with Studio44. They had begun to understand the value that SEO can have on their online exposure and lead generation, so had decided to upgrade their flash website that had remained unchanged since the early 2000’s.
The business owners were keen to push three things when commissioning the website. These were:
-The blog
-Their process
-The volume of products the offer and have exported
The Airberg brand doesn’t immediately tell the website viewer what their product offering is, so this was my first obstacle to solve for the website homepage. I landed on a shipping boat, paired with the company stats counting up from zero, aimed at catching the users attention.
Next up was the blog setup. Straight after introducing the company, we introduced the blog. This helped us to showcase all latest products and Airberg news.
The site visually integrated micro animations across the site to help it feel well built and trusted, while contributing to the UX.
